San Vicente National High School is one of the pioneers of SLC with one section in grade 7 composing of 29 students and 8 teachers. The teachers applied Slido, Menti, Padled, Google class, MS Team, MS form and PPT.
Challenges: Time Constraint in the preparation of the lessons using the different apps and students’ accomplishment in doing the tasks, slow internet connections, literacy of students on the apps, different pacing of students.
These challenges really tickled the minds of the teachers to make the teaching-learning effective and fun. The teachers really did their preparation ahead of time during their vacant time and weekends (it’s really a sacrifice), advised the students to discover the apps at home during weekends, the use of internet connection in the said classroom is on scheduled basis, extension of deadlines for the students to submit their outputs.
